Sanborn is glad to announce that the initial version of the Colorado Fire Risk Assessment System (CFRAS) is now available. This web site provides information and links for the Wildland Fire Risk Assessment System. Customized versions are available for different customers based on different risk assessment projects.
Based on ArcGIS v9, WFRAS is Sanborn's framework for wildfire risk assessment and analysis software tools. SFRAS is the latest implementation developed specifically for the Southern Group of State Forester's Southern Wildfire Risk Assessment (SWRA) project. CFRAS is the latest implementation developed specifically for the Colorado State Forest Service. TXFRAS is developed specifically for the Texas Forest Service. WFRAS is the core platform for all customized versions.
