Welcome to the WFRAS Software Site
This web site provides information and links for the Wildland Fire Risk Assessment System.  Customized versions are available for different customers based on different risk assessment projects. 

Based on ArcGIS v9, WFRAS is Sanborn's framework for wildfire risk assessment and analysis software tools. SFRAS is the latest implementation developed specifically for the Southern Group of State Forester's Southern Wildfire Risk Assessment (SWRA) project. CFRAS is the latest implementation developed specifically for the Colorado State Forest Service. WFRAS is the core platform for all customized versions.  

SFRAS 9.2.2 for ArcGIS 9.2 SP4 Now Available! - Friday, September 05, 2008
We are excited to announce that SFRAS v9.2.2 is now available for download. This version operates on ArcGIS v9.2 SP4. Please refer to the FAQ document available below for detailed information about this release. Visit the SFRAS v9.2.2 Downloads page to get the new version.  
CFRAS 9.2 Available for Colorado State Forest Service! - Monday, June 23, 2008
Sanborn is glad to announce that the initial verrsion of the Colorado Fire Risk Assessment System (CFRAS) is now available. This custom version of WFRAS is provided as a deliverable of the Western Colorado Wildfire Risk Assessment project. To download the software please go to the CFRAS v9.2 Downloads page.
